GP11E Pulse

The GP 11 PULSE was conceived and introduced as the base, ultralight (under 120 kg) model of GP GLIDERS’ line, designed for people taking their first steps in soaring. It’s made to inject pilots with the “flying bug”, a passion for gliding, and to make it more accessible than ever before. The name PULSE evokes the heartbeat and the positive emotions associated with sailing the skies. It is characterized by outstanding flight parameters, as well as very easy piloting, ground handling and rigging. It boasts fixed landing gear and simplified control systems without flaps. In spite of its simple design it is very safe. The glider’s standard equipment includes a parachute Ballistic Recovery System (BRS) and full automatic control hookups for ease of rigging and security.
  • In the Spring of 2018 the decision was taken to electrify this model, to bring it into line with the other products. The  GP11E PULSE was announced – now also self launching but this time using a front ESLS (Electric Self-Launching System) co-developed with partners MGM Compro & Rotex electric. Motor power 20 kW, battery Li-Ion 4,3 kWh. Empty weight without the battery pack – 120 kg, which means one can fly it e.g. in Germany without medicals, ideal ship for senior pilots and youngsters! Flight test programme of the prototype will commence this year, first deliveries in first half of 2019. Why bother with a sustainer when you can enjoy the independence of being able to launch and fly whenever and wherever you want!
